Crystallization behavior of polyvinyl alcohol with inorganic nucleating agent talc and regulation mechanism analysis

Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to study the effect of talc on crystallization properties morphology PVA/talc composite films from perspective heterogeneous nucleation effect. The Mo Zhishen equation Avrami kinetics behavior, successive self-nucleation annealing (SSA) method was analyze wafer thickness at various melting temperatures. PVA prepared by flow-casting method, added as inorganic nucleating agent improve crystallinity PVA. results show that addition film promotes its crystallization, content increases, tends increase. Due increase point, proportion thinner wafers gap becomes smaller, uniform. These regulates PVA, improves rate Talc has films.
